There Is No Room For Criticism In Breast Cancer

The decision to cut your breasts off under any circumstance is a horrible nightmare no woman should have to go through, however in our world that's just not the case.  There is no prejudice when it comes to Breast Cancer, anyone anytime!  Imagine my surprise when I read criticism on Angelina Jolie's choice to have a preventative double mastectomy.  Let's take it one step further ... the criticism came from women that have already been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.  My first question is why?  You are women that have walked the walk, you all know how very horrible and ugly this disease is on so many levels, so why do you have such a problem with Angelina's decision?  It's not your decision, it's not your life so what's your problem?  Had Angelina not come forward she would have been bashed for not using her celebrity to help other women.  Had she wanted attention she would have told the public beforehand.  Her strongest supporters should come from her peers that have already been diagnosed.  We should be lifting her up front and center for being a role model to the other women that are faced with or will be faced with having to cut off their breasts in the name of life.  I'm trying hard to understand this, are you saying since she didn't have chemo she doesn't really count?  Are you saying since she has money this should all be good? What are you saying I want to know!  Because the truth of the matter is this, after what I went through I wouldn't wish any part of Breast Cancer on my worst enemy.  We as survivors have to be strong and support one another, there is no room for personal opinions when it comes to a sister faced with Breast Cancer.  Did you all feel like idiots when Angelina's aunt passed away due to Breast Cancer?   Breast Cancer should humble us, it should make us better people, more compassionate and respectful of others ... but this isn't always the case.  So I ask this, if Breast Cancer didn't humble you what will?
