"It's National No Bra Day",  "Annual Holiday", "Let The Girls Be Free Day", "National No Bra Day And Breast Cancer Awareness", in one sentence.  Who made up this so called "holiday "?  Of course you are asking yourself that, as I did as well!  Dr. Mitchell Brown launched "National No Bra Day" in 2011 as a way of supporting women with Breast Cancer.  I don't know why Dr. Brown started this holiday and quite frankly I don't care because either way you cut the cake I had to cut off my breasts to give myself a fighting chance to be here for my children.  There's nothing happy or worth celebrating when it comes to Breast Cancer Dr. Brown, you being a surgeon witnessing firsthand the devastation this horrible disease inflicts on women and their families should have known better.  Maybe you should have given some thought to the patient that fills your pocket up with cash before you opened your mouth to create "National No Bra Day".  I think the surgeon should be there to empower the patient, to encourage them to keep moving forward in this horrible journey.  They should be a rock to their patients and never in any way mock the very body part the patient had to cut off or lose their life to.  I have hurt and pain every single day when I look in the mirror, I try not to carry my mind further than that vision on a daily basis because it's so very painful for me.  Asking women to go without a bra to bring awareness to Breast Cancer is so disturbing to me that I just can't wrap my brain around it.  Please tell me how women going without a bra or jiggling their breasts will benefit any woman that has Breast Cancer because I sincerely want to know.  I think it's time for you to sit and think about how you can make some good out of this nonsense "holiday" you chose to create.  Maybe then you can give back something of value to women with Breast Cancer Dr. Brown.   I don't know you and I'm sure you have done many good deeds in your career, (this not being one of them).  That being said the one thing I do know is that I'm so very glad you aren't my breast surgeon!
